Last night Jessy lost a tooth, she was so excited. She put her tooth under her pillow, anxiously waiting for the tooth fairy. Imagine her disappointment when she got up this morning, early, to discover the tooth fairy hadn't taken her tooth or left any money. I told her that it could have been because alot of kids lost their teeth yesterday and she wasn't able to get to everyone, even the tooth fairy get overwhelmed with all that she has to do, or that it could have been because Jessy bounces from bedroom to bedroom and the tooth fairy didn't know where to find her. No matter what the reason, we hope that she makes it to our house tonight!
2 1/2 weeks without a Coke. I've missed it, but I am coping!
That tooth fairy has had a ton of stress lately. I wonder if she is getting old and needs to designate a new tooth fairy. We have had a few problems with her at our house too! Must be hard to be her, she is such a little thing with so so many children to attend to. I wonder if SHE drinks coke or diet coke to get her through the night? Hmmm...maybe we should leave a letter and ask her. I wonder if the maybe the tooth fairy is senile due to her extensive age or perhaps from too much caffeine no matter what the reason it is no excuse to disappoint our children like this. Maybe she should get a firm talking to about taking her job more seriously, or maybe hiring out a temp service if she just feels too overwhelmed, maybe someone should explain to her she is just the tooth fairy and NOT freaking Wonder Woman and she just can't no matter how hard she tries, do it all....I don't know, hope she makes it to your house tonight.

ReplyDeleteI hate it when the tooth fairy forgets, or is so busy! That happened at our house once and it was on a Sunday, so the next night she came and apologized and left a note saying she was sorry, but she doesn't work on Sundays, and she never has worked on Sundays at our house again!!
